Due to the volume of responses I receive, I am unable to...um, not really. I'm sure I'll have more than enough time to mull over your question.

Today's Column: How to add a chat room to your web page.

Dear Chloe,

My web site needs a chat room on its home page. Any ideas on how I can do this?

Sincerely,

Rxtreme:)

Dear Rxtreme,

Here are some things you can do:

Bravenet offers a lot of free goodies in addition to chat rooms that you can add to your web site. Another free service, Chatterday, allows you to add a chat room and it looked fairly simple to set up. Another option you might want to try is a guestbook. I like gbook's service, which is popular with a lot of people at Diaryland. You can sign up for a gbook guestbook here. I got my guestbook through here. But your best bet may be AIM Remote. (You have to be a registered with AOL Instant Messenger, naturally.) As well as giving you a chat room, AIM Remote allows visitors to your site the option of sending you Instant Messages. Pretty cool.

Have fun!

Hugs and kisses,
